Must be an Australian Citizen This role is an office-based / Hybrid role in ACT We are looking for talented Data Engineers to join our Digital Transformation Program and make an impact across multiple data and analytics platforms. In this role, you’ll work on developing ETL/ELT processes, creating complex data visualizations, and building data products that shape key decision-making. You’ll design, develop, and test data movement and transformation processes, using cutting-edge cloud technology (Azure) to enable operational analytics. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop ETL/ELT processes for large, complex data transformations and visualizations. Prepare data for decision-making across departments using Azure cloud technology. Work with modern data and analytics platforms, including Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, and ArcGIS Enterprise. Create and optimize data for query performance in cloud computing environments. Collaborate with an agile development team, using DevOps and other tools for streamlined development. Must have Required Skills & Experience: ETL/ELT Development: Proven experience developing data processes in cloud environments. Azure Expertise: Strong knowledge of the MS Azure Stack, including Data Factory, SQL Server, Databricks, and related tools. Data Visualisation: Expertise in Power BI and the ability to interpret complex data sets and present them to stakeholders. Programming & Data Tech: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, .Net with experience in data preparation, transformation, and storage. Agile Teamwork: Experience working in an agile development environment.
