Seeking a Senior Front End Engineer who has hands on experience working with Svelte to join successful ASX listed company. Remote option available. Then this could be the job for you My client is a fast growing technology/development hub within an established global player and is seeking a talented Senior Front End Engineer with Svelte experience to join their talented dev team. This is a Full Time, Permanent position paying up to $160,000 Super. Whilst being available to work hybrid and go into one of their offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or Perth is preferable, a fully remote option is available for candidates that have hands on Svelte experience, as this is so hard to find. In the role, you will work alongside other experienced Front End Engineers to help solve complex problems by producing quality solutions. There are several new products to work on as well as many existing products to maintain and improve. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Developing new features and maintaining high quality web applications implementing modern best practices using JavaScript and related web technologies Breakdown and estimate complex technical features into manageable development tasks Interpreting client briefs to produce well-tested and complete software products Working quickly and accurately to achieve targets in an agile work environment Build reusable code and libraries for future use Collaborating with UX design team to provide solutions to problems in a prompt and professional manner Practice Agile methodologies, and participate in Agile meetings SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Extensive knowledge & experience around JavaScript and using modern front-end frameworks preferably Svelte(kit) , but will also consider React, Angular and Vue to build SPAs (Single Page Applications) as long as you are willing to learn/transition to Svelte Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 Good understanding of git, and git tools such as Azure Repos, Github Must have experience with building a UI component library Enjoy collaborating with others but also happy to work autonomously when required Excellent communication skills are a must Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies Ability to write clean and simple code in which you take pride This is a great opportunity for a talented Senior Front End Engineer to join a company that is going from strength to strength, and be part of something very special If you have what it takes (Svelte experience primarily ha), then don't miss out - make sure you apply today in order to fill interview slots for next week
