Large ASX-listed business seeking a Senior Google Cloud Engineer - GCP to join their dynamic IT team in either Sydney or Melbourne, Perm or Contract Our client, a large ASX-listed business seeking a Senior Google Cloud Engineer - GCP to join their dynamic IT team. In this pivotal new role, you will be responsible for various aspects of GCP cloud infrastructure , like provisioning, design, implementation, automation, monitoring, security, and performance optimisation of their IT systems. Key Experience: 5 years’ experience as a Cloud Engineer on GCP public cloud environments Proven experience in designing and implementing robust GCP Landing Zones/Cloud Foundations . This includes expertise in the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), governance, guardrails, security, role-based access control (RBAC), cloud interconnects, and policy frameworks. Experience in Cloud Operations on the GCP platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Strong IT infrastructure and systems administration background, managing both Windows and Linux server operating systems. Demonstrated proficiency in ITIL service operations, including incident management, problem resolution, change management, and risk mitigation Proven track record of driving continuous service improvement within multi-cloud environments. Extensive experience managing the entire project lifecycle from inception to BAU operations. Strong analytical skills to reverse engineer complex solutions and create clear, comprehensive documentation (As-Built, Low Level Design, Operating Procedures etc). Experience deploying resources via DevOps pipelines (Terraform). Why Join?
