Platform Engineer - Infra, Azure, AD, DevOps, VMWare, Exchange, O365, Blades, Zscaler, Terraform, Scripting, Bash, Linux The Platform Engineer - Infra, Azure, AD, DevOps, VMWare, Exchange, O365, Blades, Zscaler, Terraform, Scripting, Bash, Linux – will be operating and maintaining the businesses infrastructure. Delivering and driving an agile, stable, and secure platform across our Public & Private Clouds and Data Centres. Ensuring our platforms are scalable, secure and reliable. Manage, maintain & administer infrastructure-as-code cutting edge technologies. Ensures cloud & On-Premises infrastructure are properly patched, monitored, and maintained: this includes afterhours on-call support. Monitor and analyse trends in system performance, cost, capacity and reliability. Automate routine tasks, such as environment provisioning, testing, and monitoring, to improve efficiency and reduce manual work. Build and maintain high availability systems through automation and self-service to application and business teams. Create and maintain operational documentation including configuration support manuals as the environment evolves. Ensure our platform are secure by design, implementing security best practices and conducting regular audits. Developing and optimising continuous integration and deployment processes. Skills needed for the - Platform Engineer - Infra, Azure, AD, DevOps, VMWare, Exchange, O365, Blades, Zscaler, Terraform, Scripting, Bash, Linux Automation & self-service (IaC) Public Cloud ( Azure) Private Cloud / Hybrid Edge Basic Networking Active Directory and Entra ID Basic knowledge of DevOps & SRE principles Active Directory VMWare including vCentre, ESXi Veeam backup & orchestration Microsoft Exchange & O365 HPE hardware including Alletra, Apollo, blade servers & StoreOnce Dell Open Manager Zscaler experience a bonus Azure virtual desktop experience Windows & Linux experience Please apply by uploading your CV through the link and one of the Expertech team will be in touch with further details.
