Join Culture Amp’s Melbourne Engineering Internship Program from 25 November 2024 to 28 February 2025 Our 3-month internship program is a fantastic opportunity to gain the skills and experiences you need to kickstart a rewarding journey in software engineering. Our internship program is all about providing you with growth opportunities, driven by the "3 E’s of Development": - Gain hands-on experience working with a supportive cross-functional team, setting you up for success in your tech career. - Exposure to talented engineers. Receive guidance from a dedicated onboarding buddy and experienced mentors, helping you navigate the world of Culture Amp and software engineering. - Expand your technical and core skills through bite-sized learning activities that seamlessly support your hands-on growth. As an intern on one of our teams, you can expect to: - Tackle a wide variety of technical problems across our codebases as you build features with support from your team. - Collaborate with other engineers in your team through pair programming. - Work with the product managers and designers in your team to understand customer problems and help to develop, refine, and then implement solutions. - Maintain and support the services your team is responsible for. About you This role could be for you if: - You are currently working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering (or a related STEM field) and expect to complete it within the next year. - You are self-motivated and can work independently. You take the initiative to ensure you have everything you need to work efficiently and call for support when required. - You have a growth mindset and you are willing to embrace challenges. - You are willing to learn to work across the technology stack that Culture Amp uses to develop our products - you are likely to find yourself working with TypeScript, Ruby, Kotlin, and Go but not limited to only these. - You are a proactive and clear communicator. You value empathy and kindness and are able to articulate your ideas and feelings when writing or speaking, and are open to the perspectives others bring. - You are aligned with our values and demonstrate them through your working practice.
