We currently have position available for a Senior Electrical Engineer based in south-east suburbs. This role will be suitable for an engineering who has hands on experience with the design of electrical systems within automotive / defence industry. The successful applicant will have a strong passion for design and a deep understanding of electrical engineering process. Candidates should have a sound technical knowledge plus the understanding of design in conjunction with software, mechanical and electronic disciplines. The Role: Conduct Electrical Design to meet required specifications Undertake electrical design analyses Prototype testing and detailed assembly of electrical systems Develop test procedures and plans Sound electrical calculation experience Prepare and review documentation required to support designs Good communications experience both written and oral Experience required: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical engineering Minimum 7 years' experience in similar role Proven track record with CAD and CAE systems Ability to guide and mentor junior engineers Excellent knowledge and experience with design Experience within the automotive industry is highly desirable Must be experienced in working in a fast-paced environment A strong level of problem-solving skills Candidates must be an Australian Citizen to apply Due to the nature of the project's applicants MUST hold Australian Citizenship and be eligible for a security clearance.
