Our Professional Services client are hiring for a highly capable Senior Software Engineer - C# and .Net to join their organisation. In this role you will be an Australian Office that is helping with growing regional demand for desktop application services and delivering technology solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team for a permanent opportunity, based in Sydney and will allow you to contribute to all aspects of software development and client implementation. Role Title: Senior Software Engineer - C# and .Net Salary: $150k Super, with discretionary bonus as well. Location: Sydney CBD (2000)/WFH Hybrid Key Responsibilities: You will be working within a team focusing on developing products and delivering for clients. You and the team will be working closely with senior leadership, to develop an application that will help transform the way we offer software solutions to our clients Review business requirements and develop software using the Agile methodology Work with the business to ensure application enhancements meet their needs and are intuitive Collaborate with the development team and form a strong team culture Establish credibility at all levels with clients and builds problem-solving partnerships with clients and colleagues. Required Knowledge and Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience developing software applications A passion for new and creative solutions utilizing different technologies, platforms, and languages Highly experienced in .Net C# development Highly experience in Relational Database - SQL Server Experienced in either Web or Desktop technologies, including TypeScript, JavaScript, React, XAML, WPF, etc Experience in RESTful web service development in MVC/Web API Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment Ability to devise creative technical solutions Desirable Knowledge and Experience: Some domain knowledge around Foreign Exchange or Fixed Income; Experience in Azure DevOps and Git/Github Understanding of global financial market and financial instruments Understanding of cloud technologies Experience in Message Queues Candidates must be based in the Greater Sydney Area and must possess full Australian working rights, Citizen or PR.
