A well-established engineering firm is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to lead diverse and exciting projects. Our client is an industry-leading engineering consultancy with offices across Australia. They are a multidisciplinary consultancy, delivering customised, high-quality engineering design and construction stage services. Due to business growth, they are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their Geelong team. Your duties will include: Provide specialist input into structural engineering tasks, including verification of designs. Lead project outcomes and mentor structural engineers and drafters. Conduct site inspections to monitor works and assess conditions. Maintain a strong knowledge of trends and technology in structural engineering. Provide leadership and technical direction for structural engineering elements of projects undertaken by the company. Undertake structural engineering tasks and offer guidance and leadership to structural drafters, ensuring a high level of accuracy and efficiency in line with company standards. The ideal candidate will have: Registration on Engineers Australia’s National Engineering Register 10 years of local structural engineering experience Proven experience as a Building Certifier Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong communication and report writing abilities A strong sense of teamwork and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment Experience leading a team in a structures environment. Salary and Benefits You will be offered a salary package reflective of your responsibilities and commensurate with your skills and experience, expected to be between $100,000 and $150,000, with flexibility for the right candidate.
