The Role We are looking for a professional Engineering Technologist with a willingness to tackle any technical challenge and come up with innovative solutions. The main duties the candidate should undertake: Assemble, install, test, calibrate, modify and repair electrical equipment and installations to conform with regulations and safety requirements Design and layout of electrical installations and circuity on switch gear, cabling systems and motor control systems Analyse and modify new and existing engineering technologies to increase efficiency and reduce expenses Collaborate with the engineering team to develop engineering solutions that meet project requirements and customer needs Provide technical support and training to internal teams and customers as needed Examine project change requests and advise on related engineering matters Ensure safety processes and comply with all local electrical safety rules The Requirements Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Minimum of 3 years working experience as Engineering Technologist Proven experience using AutoCAD and Solid works Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices. Excellent communication both written and verbal Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
