Adelaide preferred Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane considered (some WFH) Baseline security clearance required 121212 month Federal Government contract Our client, a large Federal Government department who's purpose is to support Australians by efficiently delivering high-quality, accessible services and payments on behalf of the government, is seeking 7 x experienced Test Engineers to join their team. This is an APS5 equivalent role. Overview: The Customer Relationship Systems Branch plays a significant role in the delivery of the agency's agenda. Their focus is to organise and prioritise their people to meet the priorities of government while applying governance and discipline to their delivery approach. The role will place you as a Test Engineer within the DVA ecosystem. Key duties/responsibilities: Execute assigned test cases at various stages of testing on appropriate testing platforms; Develop test plans, test cases, task cards, and supporting test data and/or requirements, under own direction from the specifications provided; Analyse and report on test activities and results, and escalate issues and risks to senior staff; Contribute to team improvement initiatives and projects, including team tools, process changes, and test automation. Criteria: Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Test Engineer ; Demonstrated ability to create and execute test cases on appropriate testing platforms using own in-depth analysis of specifications; Demonstrated strong communication skills, including when writing documentation such as test plans, test cases and reports. Demonstrated experience with Test Management Tools, SOAPUI, SQL & XML. Demonstrated experience in any of the following is highly desireable: Squirrel SQL, Mainframe, JIRA, Confluence, Oracle, Power BI Reports.
