Senior Data Engineer | 6 months plus 36 months extension option We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer who is passionate about automation and committed to building scalable, repeatable processes. Your efforts will focus on optimizing workflows and reducing manual interventions in Snowflake data pipelines. The robust and efficient systems you create will evolve with our organization’s growing needs. ROLE Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ELT processes Optimize data storage and retrieval in our cloud data warehouse Implement data security measures, including encryption, role-based access control, and data masking Establish data quality and governance practices Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to fulfill their data requirements Mentor junior data engineers and promote best practices across the team Stay updated on emerging data technologies and methodologies YOU Demonstrated experience in data engineering roles Strong expertise in cloud data warehousing, particularly with Snowflake Proficiency in SQL and Python (Scala is a plus) Experience with data pipeline tools and ETL processes Familiarity with data management tools like Alation, integration tools like Workato, and BI tools such as Power BI Experience in dimensional data modeling and database design principles Experience working in Agile development environments Australian citizen with the ability to obtain baseline clearance if required APPLY NOW Interested candidates please send your resume (word doc) to nancyredwolfrosch.com.au or call Nancy on 0490 768 746 for a confidential discussion.
