As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop on cloud and on-premises environments, and automate the testing of resilient, customer-facing systems. What you’ll do Work along the full lifecycle of software engineering from idea to working production. Proactive in the development of your own capability across industry trends, technologies, methodologies, and behaviours. Ensure the effective documentation and communication of knowledge, system, and process. Be an advocate for the adoption of Agile / Scrum practice, methodologies, and attitudes. Role model Agile leadership behaviours. What we’re looking for At least 3 years’ experience in development/software engineering and working within agile organisations. Demonstrated experience and proficient understanding of development platforms, tools and frameworks, include, Micro services architecture, Openshift, SQL Server, JBOSS, Spring. Demonstrated experience and good understanding of testing practices and tools, such as selenium, API Automation, TDD/BDD, cucumber etc. Experience with application lifecycle management tools, like Azure DevOps, Git, CI, work tracking, defect management, etc. Exposure to cloud technologies and automation.
