Rubix Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Data Engineer Overview: Rubix Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Data Engineer with a passion for building future-state Data Warehouse capabilities using cutting-edge technologies. You will play a critical role in analyzing, integrating, and optimizing data pipelines for an airline industry client, helping shape their data landscape. Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize data warehouse solutions using Snowflake , dbt , FiveTran , and AWS services such as Managed Airflow (MWAA) , S3 , and Lambda . Design, implement, and maintain efficient ELT pipelines using advanced Snowflake techniques. Write, test, and validate data transformations with dbt , Snowflake, and Airflow. Analyze evolving data models and adapt pipelines to meet new requirements. Ensure seamless integration and governance of data sources, including using tools like FiveTran and Alation. Implement best practices for CI/CD pipelines , focusing on automation and infrastructure management. Collaborate and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required Skills and Experience: 8 years of experience in analyzing, modeling, and interpreting large datasets from multiple sources. 2 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake as a cloud Data Warehouse and data lake. Expertise in advanced Snowflake topics : RBAC, dynamic tables, and optimization techniques. Proven experience designing and implementing ELT pipelines using tools like dbt with Snowflake. Advanced proficiency in SQL , data modeling, and data warehousing technologies. Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and data governance platforms. Strong understanding of orchestration tools, such as Apache Airflow or MWAA. Experience in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Terraform). Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to varied audiences. Preferred Skills: Airline industry experience is a plus. Experience with Agile methodology . Hands-on experience with managing data solutions in a continuous deployment environment.
