The Associate Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for assisting withthe calibration of equipment. The person should be able to develop, test, and execute methods for calibrating equipment and ensure the measurements are accurate in scientific, industrial, laboratory, and technical settings. The metrologist should also be able to perform maintenance of measurement instrumentation. The person is expected to use a variety of methods that includes statistics, mathematics, physics, and/or laboratory science to analyze and update measurement procedures as needed to comply with industry standards and regulations. The incumbent is also responsible and accountable for the execution of the PSC mission, “to maintain the integrity and professionalism of our products and services while enabling steady growth and development”. D U T I E S A N D R ES P ONSIBI L IT IE S : Collaborates with the Metrology Manager to ensure that scheduling is accurate. Able to develop and evaluate calibrate systems that makes measurements. Able to identify sources of errors that affect reliability in measurement process. Assists to direct engineering, quality, and laboratory personnel in the use of measurement standards, instruments, and test system. Assist with developing SOP and Documentation for the Metrology department. Support the PSC Biotech Team with on-site projects. Able to operate and perform with our equipment. Able to work independently. Additional duties may be assigned from time to time. Requirements R E QU I R E D E D UC A TI O N A N D W O RK E X P E R I E N C E : Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, or equivalent. 1 years’ experience maintaining and calibrating equipment and instruments preferred 1 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry preferred Comfortable working with equipment. Effective time management skills and ability to work in fast-paced environment. Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to create solutions.
