Roles and Responsibilities: - Develop RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. - Design and build APIs from scratch, adhering to best practices and coding standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. - Use Maven for project management and build automation. - Ensure that APIs are well-documented, secure, and optimised for performance. - Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and resolving API-related issues. Key Requirements: - 7 years of hands-on experience in API development. - Strong expertise in Spring Boot for building RESTful APIs. - Experience with Maven is a must for managing project dependencies and build automation. - Proven experience building APIs from scratch. - Proficiency in Java (J2EE) development, with a solid understanding of Java 1.8, Struts 1.1, Spring IOC, and SQL Server. - Familiarity with HTML and JavaScript for front-end interactions with APIs. Preferred Skills: - Experience with WebSphere 8.5.5 and deployment in enterprise environments. - Knowledge of Linux operating systems for API deployment and management. - Familiarity with Apache ANT for build automation and deployment processes.
