Key Responsibilities: Technical Support: Provide first- and second-line support to Komatsu end users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues through remote tools or onsite assistance. Device Setup and Configuration: Deploy, configure, and maintain end-user devices (PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, etc.) and ensure they meet organizational standards and policies. Application Support: Assist users with issues related to business-critical software and productivity applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, O365, collaboration tools, etc.). Operating System Management (SOE): Install, upgrade, and configure operating systems, primarily Windows, ensuring they are up to date and secure. Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of hardware, software, and peripheral inventory. Coordinate repairs and replacements as needed. Security Compliance: Implement and support endpoint security measures, ensuring systems are patched and updated according to organizational policies. User Training: Educate end users on best practices, tools, and resources to increase productivity and minimize technical issues. Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and configuration guides. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams such as network, server, and security teams to resolve complex issues and support cross-functional projects. Incident Management: Log and track support requests in the IT service management system, ensuring issues are resolved within agreed SLAs. Working with other EUC Engineers, this role will be based onsite at our Welshpool office. Extensive experience with Intune, MDM or similar deployment tools. Previous experience in designing and deploying SOE environments. Experience working in an ITIL environment (certification is advantageous) High level of professionalism, work ethic and can-do attitude Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively A customer-focused approach with a willingness to go the extra mile to resolve issues
