About the role We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Senior Engineer joining our Engineering team based in Leederville. Reporting to our Senior Principal Engineer - Water Resource Recovery, this role will assist in the provision of quality planning advice, definition, design, commissioning co-ordination, operational troubleshooting and standard specification services for Water Corporation’s used water management assets. What the role will involve Detailed investigation, advanced process and hydraulic simulation, analysis and optimisation of used water management asset performance Identifying, planning and managing strategic Research & Development projects which will enhance Water Corporation understanding, expertise and performance in used water management, including mitigation and control of Greenhouse Gas emissions Undertake the role of Design Engineer for assigned planning and Capital projects, and plan, develop and manage fit-for-purpose outputs for conformity to agreed requirements, standards, time and cost Development and delivery of draft new engineering standards, guidelines and training resources Liaise with internal customers, external suppliers, service agencies, consultants, industry regulators and agencies as required, in relation to used water management Maintain focus on continuous review and improvement of quality processes and best practice design and feed into lessons learnt process An opportunity to be part of, learn within and contribute to a key, high-performance team Key skills and experience You’ll have a qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, along with extensive experience in used water-related engineering, Research & Development, and planning, design, commissioning, operation and troubleshooting of used water management assets.
