They are engineers, landscape architects and ecologists and they design space that humans love. 'Buildings' has been a core part of their business since inception. They also work in the 'land' sector (not so much this role). If you've designed the civil aspects associated with a school, a hospital, a commercial building, a sports centre you're standing in good stead. Career plan Ethically sound. Sustainable. Honest. Ambitious. They are all those things. If you want to work with a company that’ll give you learning opportunities and a professional development plan to: Build on your technical knowledge Begin or continue to work in a client facing role and begin or continue to be client facing to develop into a Civil Project Lead then this will give you exactly that. Day to day What will you do? Essentially, you’ll be problem solving. Good at maths and brainstorming? Excellent. You'll design using Civil3D software. You'll also talk about feasibility studies, tendering, colabs with others, and meet clients from time to time. DRAINS experience would be handy. Previous design experience in the built environment is critical. Which humans? You’ll be joining a team of 20 professionals. Collaboration is key and they are strong believers of doing that together. You’ll thus be based in Southbank offices and occasionally out on site or with a client. Working from home isn't norm here but happens sometimes. What’s in it for you? An amazing team. Their offices are very cool, open-plan and there’s a kick-ass coffee machine at the entranceway. Mentorship. Often 1:1. They will also pay you for your endeavours. Probably around the $90k - $120k plus Super mark, to match your experience. You could probably earn more from scratch at another company but you won't see the same learning experience. How do I work here, you ask? Please do not simply apply to the job via Seek. For more information, call me - Miriam Taylor - on 0447 042 897 or email me: miriam.taylorsonda.com.au and tell me about you. No formal cover letter needed. I work part time.
