About the opportunity This Lending Service is on a mission to provide an end-to-end customer centric, modern and secure platform. The Lending Platform. built homegrown with several microservices & Camunda Workflow applications that’s bolstered by automated operational services. Reporting to the Service Owner, you will be responsible for the design, development and support of the Lending Platform & Microservices API applications hosted on the cloud for its entire lifecycle. As a member of a cross functional team (squad) and will be accountable to design, develop, test, deploy and manage codes. This role will support the Iteration management function in the efficient execution of each iteration and will work closely with the test function to ensure effective flow of work and that the iteration commitments are met. As a DevOps Engineer you’ll get to… Design, implement, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes. Effective and appropriate Incident, Problem, Configuration, Change and Release Management according to technology and Group standards. Responsible for IT Service continuity and production/application support in line with SLA s and ensuring that all elements required to restore their service are known and in place in the event of a crisis. Maintain an understanding of the latest industry trends and technologies in the respective service subject matter to obtain maximum benefits. What you’ll bring to the role You’ll have previous experience as a DevOps Engineer creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing deployments across non/production environments and integration testing. To be successful in the role you will have: Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and Kong deployments. Strong experience with maintaining and managing cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS). Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python). Exposure to practices that support an agile way of working (e.g., scrum, pair programming, continuous build and integration, TDD etc.) So, why work with us? Want big impact that matters?
