About the role: We are currently seeking an Engineer – Water based in Osborne Park. In this permanent role you will provide engineering support and advice for the operation and optimisation of surface water assets to collect, treat and transfer water, including source protection, dam safety, water treatment and water quality. About the role: We are currently seeking an Engineer – Water based in Osborne Park. In this permanent role you will provide engineering support and advice for the operation and optimisation of surface water assets to collect, treat and transfer water, including source protection, dam safety, water treatment and water quality. What the role will involve: · Identifying, resolving issues and providing support in water source protection · Conducting engineering investigations and recommending improvements to ensure the optimal performance of chemical dosing and water treatment plants · Providing engineering expertise to ensure the optimal performance and maintenance of major water transfer infrastructure · Maintaining, reviewing and producing operations manuals, management procedures, contingency plans and other essential documentation for Water Operations · Ensuring compliance with relevant ANCOLD and Corporate dam safety policies, procedures and guidelines · Ensuring compliance with ADWG and Framework for Management of Drinking Water Quality policies, procedures and guidelines · Contributing to the development and implementation of a strategic direction for the Section Key skills and experience: · Degree level qualification in a related engineering discipline. · Water related professional engineering experience. · Proven and relevant water operations and water quality management experience · Experience in delivering optimal engineering, business and financial outcomes · Well-developed communication skills (verbal and written) and an ability to engage people at all levels, including strong relationship management skills Apply: If you are interested in the above opportunity, please submit a covering letter and resume that best demonstrates your ability to meet the requirements of the role.
