The Associate Cloud Engineer role is a multi-skilled role responsible for ensuring that applications are developed, deployed and maintained in alignment with infrastructure capabilities, operational considerations and Public Cloud best practice. It is a hands-on, multi-skilled role that touches application lifecycle management, application development, technical testing, infrastructure competencies and Cloud best practice. It contributes to Cloud engineering initiatives within ING, including design and technical implementation. Adherence to all ING policies and completion of all training requirements is mandatory. What you’ll do Provide operations and cloud solution support to the software delivery teams Support our cloud production deployment and disaster recovery capabilities Contribute to software delivery, cloud infrastructure and operations practices while continuously adopting industry trend and best practice into ING Learning, share knowledge and expertise and help uplift the capabilities and skills across various teams What we’re looking for Minimum of 1 or 2 years’ commercial experience with software builds and packaging - TFS, Jenkins, GIT, GITFlow etc. Strong knowledge in Public Cloud Fluent in one or more development languages - Python, Ansible, Java, Polymer, HTML5, iOS/Android etc. Knowledge of Container Technologies - Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker for Windows, Azure Container Services, Mesos, Docker Swarm etc. Knowledge and practical experience of CI/CD What’s in it for you?
