As our new Lead Engineer, Water Resources , you’ll be a vital part of the team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable. Your role will include: Ability to guide emerging professionals and work collaboratively at both an internal and external client-facing level Support and delivery of high-quality technical outputs to provide a quality product that meets client expectations Provide technical leadership on flood modelling projects Review and verify hydrologic and hydraulic models as well writing and reviewing technical reports Coordinate with other discipline leads on major infrastructure and/or multi-disciplinary projects Mentor our emerging professional sin the team to ensure that the future leaders of our team are being developed How will your future be shaped by us? We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life. Specifically, we are looking for: Degree in Engineering (Civil/Environmental) or related field Proven years of relevant flooding industry experience, hydrological and hydraulic modelling, ideally within a multi-disciplinary consulting environment Chartered status (e.g. CPEng, RPEV) is highly desirable, or at least working towards achieving this in the short term Strong understanding of Australian Rainfall and Runoff (ARR) 2019 Guidelines Demonstrated experience in delivering water resources and design packages using TUFLOW and RORB required Proficiency in GIS software such as QGIS, ArcGIS Excellent technical writing skills Ready to bring ideas to life?
