Boutique engineering consultancy is seeking a Structural Engineer to work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects. The Company My client is a boutique engineering consultancy that specialise in designing and implementing cost-effective and tailored engineering solutions for a wide range of projects from commercial, industrial and temporary works projects. They are seeking an intermediate Structural Engineer to join the team and be part of the growth of the Melbourne office. The Opportunity As a Structural Engineer your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Design, analyse, and review structural components and systems for a variety of building projects. Working closely with Engineers, Architects and Designers to provide high quality structural design and documentation. Conduct site visits to oversee construction progress and assess any structural issues that arise. Work with design software such as Spacegass and Structural Toolkit to produce accurate models and plans. The Successful Applicant In order to be successful for this role you will ideally have: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Proven experience in structural engineering, particularly in small to medium-sized projects. Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and construction practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or professional accreditation is a plus. What's on Offer Close knit and dynamic team of engineering professionals.
