About the company We're on the hunt for highly versatile Network Systems Engineer with current technology skillset to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, and administering new and upgraded networks, software database applications, servers, and workstations Assessing and recommending improvements to network operations and integrated hardware, software, communications and operating systems Monitoring network performance and availability to identify and resolve any issues that may impact operations Installing and managing network security measures such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems to protect against cyber threats Analyzing and troubleshooting network and system issues to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner Collaborating effectively with others and to resolve issues and improve service delivery Creating and maintaining relevant documentation for network system management Qualification & Skills Required: Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role In-depth comprehension of network technologies including VLANs, VPNs, QoS, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Group Policy Strong communication, documentation and time management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
