Responsibilities Perform RP (Route Processor) and LC (Line Card) replacement to ensure high availability and performance of network services. Conduct power upgrades to meet the growing demands of the network infrastructure. Execute card/link upgrades or migrations to enhance network capacity and reliability. Establish new core links (LAG - Link Aggregation Groups) to improve network redundancy and bandwidth. Develop new peering arrangements to expand network reach and interconnectivity with other networks. Integrate new PE (Provider Edge) devices into the network to support expanding service offerings. Implement the integration of access devices to extend network services to new areas and customers. Coordinate services migration to new platforms or technologies with minimal impact on customers. Manage device relocations to optimize network architecture and performance. Oversee the migration of core/access links to newer technologies or infrastructures. Lead the decommissioning of outdated links, peering arrangements, and devices to streamline network operations. Plan and execute software upgrades to ensure network devices run the latest, most secure firmware. Expand CGNAT (Carrier-Grade Network Address Translation) IP pools to support the growing needs of the network. SecGW RD/BD Migration. Configure/Migrate IPoE/PPPoE subscribers in Cisco/Nokia BNG Skills and Qualifications At least three (3) years of experience in General IT Communications. A minimum of two (2) years of Network Engineering operations and Integration experience. At least two (2) years of experience with Security gateway operations. Minimum two (2) years of hands-on experience with Fortinet technologies, including FortiManager and FortiAnalyser. At least two (2) years of experience working with Cisco technologies, including both IOS and IOS-XR. At least two (2) years of experience working with Nokia SR OS platforms. Two (2) years of experience with Juniper routing and Security gateway technologies. Sound knowledge of TCP/IP and service provider networks. Good understanding routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, MPLS), VRFs, load balancing, and L2/L3 protocols. Good understanding of Network and Security architecture is desired. Vendor Experience Cisco: BNG/Routing and Switching Juniper: Routing Fortinet: Firewall and SecGW functionalities, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyser Nokia : BNG/Routing Type of Work The Network Integration Engineer will be involved in a wide range of activities, including hardware replacements, upgrades, migrations, new integrations, decommissions, and software updates, all aimed at enhancing the performance, security, and scalability of our network infrastructure.
