As the Azure Cloud Engineer you will play an important role in the development and maintenance of technical solutions on the public cloud and ensure that the detailed design, build, and operations are fit for purpose. You will be accountable for detailed service designs, technical specifications, build and automation across patterns and the platform What will you do? - Design, build, and automate Azure Services with a focus on security, compliance, and cost optimization using Terraform for Enterprise consumption. - Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the banks Azure platform, it’s patterns, and tools. - Engage with customers, gather requirements, and plan/schedule deliveries. - Diagnose and resolve complex service issues across infrastructure and applications. - Facilitate solution design and delivery phases to ensure timely resolution of design issues. - Ensure end-to-end compliance, security, and pattern automation best practices. - Provide expert input on capacity planning, performance monitoring, and tuning for cloud platform stability. - Liaise with stakeholders and suppliers, fostering a collaborative "one team" mindset. - Stay current on industry and technical trends to evaluate and recommend improvements to Azure offerings and automation. - Apply Agile frameworks and techniques to deliver business value. What do I need? - 3 years of experience in Azure technologies - Strong experience in IaC using Terraform to create reusable modules for enterprise consumption - Experience in one or more DevOps automation tools including BitBucket, Jira, Azure DevOps and Jenkins - Proficiency in scripting and development (Bash/Shell, Ruby, JSON, Python, NodeJS, JavaScript) - Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Artifactory) - Troubleshooting expertise in Azure technologies - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Agile methodologies experience - Azure cloud certifications highly regarded.
