Located in the CBD this nationally renowned multidisciplinary consultancy has a strong presence in the Melbourne market, they specialise in institutional, education, commercial, retail and heritage projects generally of a medium scale with a major project currently under way, this firm is known for its ability to develop their people by giving them ownership of their projects and outcomes. As a Senior/Associate Structural Engineer you will be responsible for leading project teams in the delivery the design and documentation of small to medium scale projects to client satisfaction, you will develop local networks and leverage them to bring in new project work whilst being the point of contact for client enquiries and queries. This role would be well suited to someone already performing a similar role, or an ambitious Structural Engineer looking to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have: Circa 8 years of experience as a Structural Engineer Strong technical competence Project management Experience in, or the ability to lead small project teams of engineers and drafters A good understanding of design and analysis of all structural materials Strong communication skills both written and verbal Professional presentation and a good attitude In reward you will be offered a salary package reflective of your responsibilities and commensurate with your skills and experience, at this stage it is expected to fall between $120,000 and $150,000 however is naturally flexible for the right candidate, you will have exposure to business development and account management of existing accounts, making you an indispensable member of the team and key asset.
