We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Telecommunications Technician to join our team. If you have experience in building, maintaining and upgrading fixed wireless communication sites we want to hear from you. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Install, commission, upgrade, integrate and maintain radio equipment Install, commission and troubleshoot microwave radio equipment Various testing of antenna / feeder line systems Install, test and maintain all types of telecommunications vendor equipment Maintain and adhere to all policies, procedures and complete appropriate documentation Take responsibility for tools, plant and test equipment Ensure accurate record keeping of all work performed as required Driving to and from site locations Use of power tools and equipment for installation and testing Adhere to OH&S standards Required skills: At least 3 years experience as a Telecommunications Field Technician installing and commissioning Nokia and Ericsson equipment for fixed wireless communication sites. Bachelor degree in Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent. White card First Aid & CPR Valid open driver's license
