What this opportunity involves: JLL is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Services Manager to join our team at 440 Collins St, Melbourne – with our Client, Lendlease. This role reports to the General Manager and is crucial for the day-to-day operations and engineering of all operational aspects of the property. An overview of the role: Ensure adherence to all relevant statutory authorities and Lendlease Global Minimum Requirements (GMR) performance standards Manage maintenance of property structure, façade, fixtures, fittings, finishes, and services Obtain certification for essential services and prepare annual Fire Safety Statements Ensure compliance with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety requirements Coordinate property services and works, including access management Conduct periodic inspections of building and plant to assess repair needs Manage specialist contractors to ensure contract compliance and GMR standards Implement and maintain JLL's computerised systems for Planned Preventative Maintenance, Work Orders, and risk & compliance platforms (Edge, iComply, Prism) Identify and implement energy, water, and waste conservation initiatives Manage tenant refurbishment processes, ensuring all necessary approvals and safety measures Prepare and monitor annual property operations and capital works budgets Provide input for monthly operational reports Take responsibility for site operations team performance in auditing and management review obligations Assist in various owner-specific and JLL programs, including GMR, sustainability, and crisis management Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for: Minimum 5 years' experience as a senior Technical Operations Manager in A Grade or Premium Assets Tertiary qualifications (desirable) or Trade Certificate Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders Excellent customer service ethos and ability to manage tenant expectations Demonstrated ability to prioritise work within tight operational and financial deadlines Knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and sustainability practices What you can expect from us: You’ll join an entrepreneurial, inclusive culture.
