TalentWeb is seeking a Temporary Works Engineering Lead for our client's construction engineering (CE) team in Brisbane. You will be managing an experienced team of 6 Structural Engineers, focused on temporary works for transport and buildings projects, across SEQ. In this role you will be responsible for: Continually seeking to identify and implement improvements to the temporary works design management systems and processes to ensure compliance with project requirements; Maintaining a detailed program that identifies and forecasts the development of temporary works design packages; Review and manage temporary works design costs, budgets and forecasts; Coordinate relevant technical matters with key project internal and external interfaces; Developing business and relationships with builders and contractors across QLD and growing the delivery team internally. To be successful in your application, we seek candidates with the following: At least 10 years of leadership experience with a focus on temporary works and construction engineering projects; Ability to undertake design reviews and proof engineering of other team member’s work; RPEQ/CPEng accreditation; Ability to lead, supervise and grow a team; The demonstrable ability to win business and generate revenue.
