Job Description Our Product unit guides every step of the lifecycle of our products. They are responsible for the product development and positioning of our products, through a focus on our own capability balanced with market demand. Ultimately, the unit is charged with building the best possible product as an output of customer advocacy, the voice of our market and optimisation of our own capability. We are in search of a Network Security Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for providing level 2/3 support for our network security systems and customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network technologies and system administration. Core responsibilities will include troubleshooting, maintaining, and providing customer support for our network security products, ensuring the highest levels of security and operational effectiveness. What will you do? Efficiently resolve customer queries and issues related to networking and security by offering specialized technical knowledge in firewalls, proxies and networks. Identify and resolve issues related to networks, offering solutions and suggestions to avoid similar problems in the future. Refresh and manage the internal knowledge base to enhance comprehension of the products and address any repetitive issues effectively. Build, image and configure hardware appliances for customers. Contribute to product documentation and identify areas to improve the customer experience. Assist with software testing and quality assurance. Manage tickets queues effectively, ensure a good customer support experience. The ideal candidate will have: Experience in network security or related field, particularly skilled in overseeing firewalls, proxies, and various other network systems. Strong knowledge in networking, particularly in areas including switching and routing. Working knowledge of technical protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS, and SMTP. Skills in configuring both wired and wireless networks, proficient with centralized authentication systems such as Microsoft Active Directory, and versed in various client-based operating systems, including Windows (client and server editions), MacOS, iOS.
