Conduct network capacity and capability analysis, develop strategic options, and provide expert advice on delivering alternative network solutions, remedial strategies, and network support agreements. Develop and communicate detailed operational plans for the optimal development of the interconnected network, ensuring operations meet reliability, system standards, and network stability requirements. Identify and implement changes in operating approaches, methods, systems, and processes to facilitate the connection of new electrification load projects, renewable energy projects, and dynamic transmission equipment, supporting the energy transition in Queensland. Your role involves employing innovative methods to analyse and resolve operational challenges to effectively manage the evolving complexities of the transmission network. The people you'll join: Located in Brisbane, you will become part of a collaborative team of professionals, including Principal Engineers, a Senior Engineer and Development Engineer in Strategic & Future Network Operations. You will play a key role in shaping future-oriented strategies for Queensland's SuperGrid within an innovative and agile work culture that offers opportunities to lead transformative initiatives. What you'll bring: In addition to having degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering, you will have significant applied experience working within an engineering advisory role and be RPEQ. Demonstrated experience in the Energy industry or similar (other utilities) which may include transmission or distribution electricity network development, power generation operations, or market operations.
