Devise and execute service-oriented solutions that enhance the long-term performance of balance of plant equipment. Conduct in-depth Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for system trips, identifying underlying issues and driving corrective actions. Establish and adhere to best practices and protocols for diverse maintenance activities concerning third-party OEM equipment. Take a leading role in promoting and upholding safety protocols for MV/HV equipment, becoming a proactive advocate for secure work practices. Perform rigorous testing and provide clear explanations of fundamental requirements and advantages for specific balance of plant equipment, encompassing primary injection, transformer testing, HV IR testers, thermal imaging, and dissolved gas analysis. Facilitate effective communication and feedback collection from the wider Tesla Energy service organization, compiling comprehensive updates about accomplished tasks, identified challenges, and projected timelines. Foster strong relationships with third-party equipment servicing entities to ensure operational integrity of the plant. Maintain meticulous record-keeping standards for all HV operations, including but not limited to meticulous switching coordination. Provide unwavering support to Tesla Energy BOP assets in alignment with contractual obligations and customer objectives. Generate detailed reports concerning operational maintenance plans, testing, audits, performance insights, and forecasts. Compile and deliver comprehensive asset management reports to clients, supervisors, and management. Collaborate closely with the team director and the design/construction team to guarantee operational compliance with all commitments, performance guarantees, and company benchmarks. Conduct periodic online monitoring, recording, incident identification, and resolution for any events that disrupt power generation or overall project functionality. What You’ll Bring Minimum of 5 years of cross-functional project or field engineering experience is a prerequisite. Holder of a B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Proven hands-on experience in HV operations. Proficient in primary and secondary systems, showcasing a robust understanding. Adept at navigating ambiguity, formulating and executing strategies, and demonstrating meticulous attention to detail. Track record of effectively tackling intricate problem-solving scenarios. Established history of cultivating robust customer relationships and delivering impactful communication. Passionate and empathetic when collaborating with diverse teams and partners to overcome challenges. Demonstrates strong analytical and quantitative skills, leveraging data and metrics to inform assumptions and guide decision-making. Capable of managing multiple projects and tasks concurrently, spanning various teams, all within tight timelines. Displays agility in adapting quickly to changing circumstances. Skilled at building rapport with stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds. Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of fluency in English.
