Peoplebank are recruiting for a Senior Network Engineer (Team Leader) to work in the Adelaide CBD on large, multi-year program of work. Please note, you MUST be an Australia Citizen, with an NV1 Security Clearance (Negative Vetting Level 1), or higher, to be suitable for the role, due to the nature of the work. Responsibilities may include You will design, build and support data centre network, mainframe, midrange, server, desktop, security and network infrastructure capabilities both in-house and in a shared service arrangement. Accountable for the management of the organisations network infrastructure including WAN, LAN, WLAN, firewalls, routers, and switches and the computing infrastructure including data centre, mainframe, midrange, server, and desktop. In performing a leadership role, Senior Network Engineers identify and drive innovation, manage and lead change, and have an active role in contributing to, and implementing the strategic direction. Skills and Experience Required 5 years demonstrated experience in the design, management and maintenance of large-scale data centre networking environment. Experience in the development of network high-level designs and detailed designs. Ability to articulate detail through design and implementation plans. High developed diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated experience with Solid knowledge in design and configuration of Networking , Wireless LAN, Software Define Network . Demonstrated experience in the design and integration of enterprise network. Demonstrated experience in implementing, configuring and maintaining network devices including Cisco Catalyst, Nexus Switches, Cisco ACI, F5 Load balancers, DNS, network proxy and network firewalls. Expertise in dynamic routing protocols, particularly EIGRP, OSPF & BGP. Demonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of system architecture and design documentation. Experience using network management software and tools to investigate and diagnose network problems, collect performance statistics and create reports. Demonstrated experience with or knowledge of Australian Government information security policies, the ASD Information Security Manual and Essential Eight.
