Senior Azure Identity Engineer — Greenway, Tuggeranong

Our Federal Government Client is looking for a Senior Azure Identity Engineer to manage and maintain all ICT platforms, including all technical landscape design, installation, configuration, deployment, technical security and operation of the Client’s ICT components and databases. This role will work closely with key third party suppliers to ensure the provision of a robust infrastructure capability to the Client business and liaise with architecture and shared services areas to ensure the security of the day-to-day technical operations. Primary Technologies: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Identity Management and access control. Key duties may include, but are not limited to: Design, implement, and support the Active Directory/Entra ID environment Integrate systems and applications with leveraging centralized authentication such as Azure Active Directory/Entra ID. Provide subject matter knowledge and expertise on Azure Active Directory/Entra ID and Active Directory synchronization. Prepare, update and review a range of technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedure and reports. Manage the regular maintenance of patches and support packages for all technical layers Mandatory Criteria 3 years of experience on Windows Server, Windows Client, Active Directory and/or Azure Active Directory Administration, ADFS, SSO configuration, Azure Identity protection, Identity management, Azure MFA. 3 years of experience supporting large and complex enterprise environments. Weighted Criteria Works highly independently under broad direction and act collaboratively. Assess risks and implement mitigation strategies. Extensive knowledge and understanding of Windows System Administration, Certificates, PKI, DNS, Networking, Virtualization, PowerShell scripting. Extensive knowledge and understanding of OS concepts, load balancing, VPN technologies. The role is on an initial 12-month contract with possible extensions up to 24 months max . The work can be done Canberra, Adelaide, or Brisbane . Candidates must be capable of working from the Client’s office in their nominated location a minimum of 3 days per week.
