Description We are now looking for an MEP Project Engineer to join our highly skilled, Built Form team . Reporting to the Project Manager, the role of the MEP Engineer is to manage the successful installation of manufacturing equipment at the Manufacturing and Maintenance facilities. You will monitor and collaborate with equipment suppliers and subcontractors throughout the life of the project and play a key role in the commissioning, certification, and handover process. Services may include: Mechanical Electrical Communications Security Fire Protection Hydraulics Vertical Transportation This is a fulltime, permanent role, and is based in Torbanlea, QLD on the beautiful Fraser Coast. About You: 5 years relevant experience within construction (civil infrastructure or mechanical equipment fitout highly desired) Relevant degree/tertiary qualification in suitable Engineering discipline or equivalent Potential to gain Membership with Engineers Australia or RPEQ Sound understanding of design principles and commercial acumen Ability to solve complex problems in a time-sensitive environment About the Project: QTMP is the largest investment in new rollingstock in Queensland’s history.
