In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement best practice asset management strategies to enhance the reliability and efficiency of WA's network. Your expertise in utilities and overhead lines will be crucial in shaping the future of our asset management practices. Key Responsibilities: Develop and apply asset management strategies for optimal life-cycle performance of distribution assets. Lead the design and delivery of projects, ensuring completion on time and within budget. Monitor and report on asset condition and performance while managing risks and regulatory obligations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovate methods for asset management. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve performance objectives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Eligibility for Professional Engineer membership (MIEAust) with Engineers Australia. Extensive relevant engineering experience in the utilities sector in Australia, specifically in operations and maintenance. Strong track record in asset management, risk management, and governance processes. Full working rights in Australia. Commitment to safety and the ability to relate tasks to the bigger picture.
