New opportunity for an automation engineer with skills in Java or Python Cucumber and BDD. Working in a permanent role for a busy and established FinTech organization, the successful person will be working within an agile team on two business critical applications, focusing on data announcements and integration. To be a success in this role you will have experience in API testing, specifically around messaging, protocols and/or distribution. Test design and analysis of functional and non-functional specifications, requirements and solution architecture. Execution, investigation and maintenance of existing automated test cases. Proven experience in framework builds with Java or Python DevOps Tools favorable GitLab Cloud Jira, cloud integration highly regarded Design & execute robust test scenarios/test cases in line with wider business transformation strategy and planning. Interpreting and executing complex test scripts, analysing results and maintaining a defect register. Assist the Test Manager in test planning and specifying requirements for test environments, test data and tools. You will have proven skills with Java, cucumber and BDD frameworks as well as clear communications, written and verbal, for stakeholder engagement.
