If you are well established in your profession as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Building Services and have RPEQ or eligibility then living in a beachside location and maintaining your career is a real possibility for you and your family. We are working closely with our client to find an experienced and qualified Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer within building services to join this small building services firm, which services the entire region and beyond. It is booming in QLD right now and the coast is no exception, our client has run a successful business for many years and is looking towards the future. They have a strong track record of projects delivered and great long term client relationships providing repeat business. Project examples include; Residential and hotel apartments, Tourism and hospitality, civic sports centres, commercial/retail, medical and healthcare, labs and pharmacutical, education and research, childcare centres. There are opportunities within the firm for future partnership as the current owner considers succession planning. This role would suit an engineer that is an exceptional communicator and self starter, the successful candidate needs to be willing and interested in being in a hands on role providing full 360 service to clients, including establishing the scope, fee proposals, design and delivery and project management (with assistance of current drafting staff). You will know if this position is right if you are excited about developing and expanding your skills for engineering and business management in a small business that one day you may hold a stake in. Requirements; Bachelor Degree Mechanical Engineering; or relevant degree qualification RPEQ and/or CPeng At least 10 years experience in Mechanical Engineering Building Services system design Have previous experience in Consulting environment within the Building services industry with a strong knowledge of Australian Standards and Australian Building Code Ability to multitask between simultaneous projects, planning and management whilst working in multi-disciplinary environment.
