Job Description OpenStack Engineer– NV1 12 months with 2x12 months ext. option Location – ACT, QLD, VIC – 3 days in Office Australian Citizens with NV1 Security Clearance Infinite Consulting is seeking an experienced OpenStack Engineer– NV1 cleared for our esteemed large Federal Government Client. This is a long term contract-12 months with 2x12 months extension option. About the role: As the OpenStack Infrastructure Engineer, you will assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure and services based on the OpenStack cloud computing platform. On-call or out of hours work may be required. Primary Technologies : Red Hat OpenStack, Ceph Storage, Python, Red Hat Ansible, Red Hat Satellite, Linux (RHEL), GIT, RHEV 4, Grafana, Prometheus. Key duties may include, but are not limited to: Building and implementing Private cloud infrastructure solutions, including compute, storage, and networking components. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with Private Cloud infrastructure and services. Automating infrastructure deployment and management using tools such as Ansible and Satellite. Performing capacity planning and performance tuning for private cloud-based infrastructure. Role specific requirements: Experience with Linux administration. Experience with OpenStack. Experience with Red Hat Ansible. Experience with Red Hat Satellite. Experience with Python programming language and Software defined networking. Experience with Object Storage. Experience with Ceph Block Storage.
