About the role: Are you an experienced infrastructure specialist with a passion for optimizing and managing complex systems? V2 Digital is seeking a Lead Infrastructure (Systems) Engineer to join our team and drive the reliability and performance of our infrastructure. 3 month contract, high chance of extension ASAP start Location: Port Melbourne - 5 days on site (parking on site) What your day will look like: Infrastructure Management: Manage, troubleshoot, install, and upgrade network devices, servers, and virtual servers across platforms like VMware, AWS, and ProxMox. Scripting Expertise: Write efficient scripts in various scripting languages, including BASH, to automate and enhance system performance. Linux Administration: Configure, manage, and install CentOS Linux Servers using tools like Ansible. Cloud Services: Utilize advanced knowledge of AWS services like Route 53, S3, and EC2 for scalable and secure solutions. Monitoring & Backup: Optimize and manage monitoring/backup solutions using tools like DataDog and CloudWatch. System Diagnostics: Use system-level diagnostics to isolate and resolve complex technical issues. Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support within a collaborative team environment. Communication & Documentation: Deliver exceptional written and verbal communication, creating clear technical documentation and sharing insights effectively with stakeholders. What's required of you: Expertise in managing diverse infrastructure systems, including cloud, virtual, and Linux servers. Strong scripting skills, with the ability to automate and streamline processes. In-depth experience with AWS, monitoring tools, and server configurations. Proven problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving complex issues. A team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for leadership and innovation.
