In this role, you will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and reporting solutions that empower our business and customers turning raw data from multiple sources into clear, impactful reports and dashboards. If you have strong technical expertise and a passion for data, we want to hear from you As a Data & Reporting Engineer, you will: Design & Develop: Create efficient ETL/ELT processes and robust data pipelines to ensure data integrity and availability. Collaborate & Communicate: Partner with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective reporting solutions. Ensure Quality: Implement data validation checks and adhere to data governance standards, maintaining high levels of data accuracy and consistency. Drive Insights: Build intuitive dashboards and reports using leading BI tools, helping business teams make informed decisions. Optimize & Innovate: Continuously seek ways to enhance data workflows, reporting capabilities, and system performance. OUR TEAM’S STRENGTH COMES FROM EVERYONE’S INDIVIDUALITY About you: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or business intelligence. Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern data warehousing solutions. BI Expertise: Experience configuring reporting and visualization tools (e.g., AWS QuickSight, Power BI etc). Certifications (Preferred): AWS Certified Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, or equivalent certifications. Technical Skills: Data Engineering: Strong experience in building ETL/ELT processes using tools like AWS Glue or SSIS. Database Management: Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, MySQL), DynamoDB, and cloud-based data warehouse, data lakes and analysis tools (e.g., Athena, SSAS). Programming: Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation would be advantageous. Reporting Tools: Expertise in BI tools (e.g., AWS QuickSight, Power BI, SSAS) for creating dashboards and reports. Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data storage and processing. Analytical Skills: Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify and resolve data-related issues. Data Visualization: Skilled in designing clear, compelling data visualizations and reports. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and quality in data handling, with a focus on maintaining data integrity. Collaboration & Communication: Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Teamwork: Experience working in cross-functional teams with analysts, engineers, and business users. Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Adaptability & Growth Mindset: Continuous Learning: Enthusiasm for staying current with emerging data technologies and best practices. Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and manage multiple tasks effectively. DELIVERING THE GOOD, STRIVING FOR THE GREAT Position responsibilities include but are not limited to: Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion from various sources (e.g., databases, APIs, cloud storage). Build and manage data warehouses and data marts for analytics and reporting. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and create user-friendly dashboards and automated reporting solutions. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to data pipelines and infrastructure. Implement data quality checks and ensure compliance with data governance policies. Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and data interpretation. Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies in data engineering and analytics.
