Your expertise will contribute to the smooth operation and maintenance of vessels that support our contract. As an Engineer Class 3 NC, you’ll make a positive impact by: Coordinating ship-to-ship and terminal fuel transfers, ensuring safety and accuracy Managing vessel operations, including berthing, anchoring, and cargo handling Leading shipboard drills, exercises, and safety training for personnel Performing and overseeing vessel maintenance and engineering tasks Administering operational documentation, including logs, records, and audits Collaborating with stakeholders to meet operational objectives Serco is a place for you To be successful in this role, you’ll have: Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Defence security clearance or higher A valid AMSA Certificate of Competency (Engineer Class III NC) Maintain First Aid Certificates At least four (4) years appropriate maritime industry experience relevant to the position Familiarity with vessel monitoring and stability systems. Current Driver’s Licence Knowledge of safety management systems and compliance requirements Please note: This position carries trust and responsibility.
