Senior Firmware Engineer | Permanent Position | Hybrid (1 day to office rest WFH) | location - Prahran, VIC COMPANY'S PROFILE Our client is a data and insights company that has developed scanning and processing technologies to capture ultra rich human body data.They enable better, more personalised experiences for consumers, companies and brands they engage with, across the global uniform, health & wellness and fashion sectors. ROLE The applicant will be responsible: ● Collaborating with other teams to develop software on the hardware device to seamlessly connect to the cloud platforms. ● Creating and altering applications to enhance the customer experience with other teams. ● Manage development of new or modified hardware systems. ● Liaising with 3rd party stakeholders to manage development, design and construction of hardware assets. ● Creating mass deployment plans and licence management of deployed systems windows, Linux and other IoT systems. Including BIOS tuning and customisations. ● Liaising with Software and Operations teams as required. ● Assisting in any customisation of deployed products remotely. ● Assisting in creation of hardware applications and middleware, inc API’s. ● Learning main hardware applications and managing backups and any IP reporting. ● Creating new applications, systems, technology to assist in customer and IP enhancements. ● Assisting client-facing teams where required. YOU The applicant will have experience with: Full stack software development including C, C++, C#, Java (MUST) , Arduino, Linux, Windows 10. AWS services such as S3, Cloudwatch and SSM. Developing embedded software systems. Developing, designing, and implementing hardware solutions, including interactions with 3rd party vendors and contractors. Integrating hardware and software development efforts. Configuration management and control processes and systems. It would be nice to have but, not required: Some 3D programming skills, vision systems, Open3D, OpenGL. Some AI knowledge and application skills such as Pytorch or Tensor flow.
