6 12 12 month contract - January start $135 - $165 per hour (inc-Super) - market estimate / negotiable ACT, Sydney or Melbourne Address - 3 days p/w onsite Obtain your Baseline Security Clearance Our client, a Commonwealth Government entity responsible for supporting and investing in sports and sports science for Australians, are seeking the experience of a Senior Network Engineer (HPE Aruba, Fortinet) for a 6 12 12 month contract based in Melbourne, Sydney or Canberra. Duties of the Senior Network Engineer (HPE Aruba, Fortinet) Lead the design and implementation of a network refresh project which aims to uplift the client's network and various WAN sites. Provide network support across a broad range of platforms and systems - including cloud and on-premises platforms. Develop key documentation such as detailed architectural designs, as-built, network diagrams and standard operating procedures. Perform a wireless survey across our main campus and remote sites. Work outside regular business hours as required to perform changes . Assist with BAU networking tasks, including providing support to business areas. Skills and Experience Required Experience with HPE Aruba networking platform, including switching, routing and wireless. Experience with HPE Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager and HPE Airwave. Experience with Fortinet Fortigate firewalls. Experience with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) technologies, including products like Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX). Experience performing Wireless site surveys Experience with hybrid environments - On-premise and Cloud (Azure, AWS and GCP).
