The company's consistent growth across Australia has led to the expansion of their IT team, creating an opportunity for an IT Infrastructure Engineer. This vital role will significantly impact the transformation of their network and ensure the daily maintenance of their IT infrastructure. Responsibilities: Take charge of the configuration of networks which include switches, routers, firewalls, and network monitoring devices. Manage everyday operations of networks. Oversee the maintenance of the corporate network infrastructure compromising Cisco switches, HP Switches, Cisco Routers and Cisco WAP's. Support the systems engineer with maintenance and backups of servers. Use network tools for the purpose of troubleshooting network performance and content filtering. Develop and enhance efficiency standards and recommend departmental improvements. Act as the key technical resource during any network related issues or projects. Advise the business on cyber security best practices. Required Skills: Team player with an interest in technology. Experience in design, procurement, and implementation of network solutions. Proficient in network troubleshooting, advantageous if familiar with Cisco. Any CCNA/CCNP qualification would be highly regarded. Any experience with SCADA systems would be desirable.
