Description Undergraduate Façade Engineer Indesco is a leading engineering consultancy specialising in urban infrastructure, transport planning, and land development. We provide tailored solutions across design, construction management, and project delivery, focusing on quality, innovation, and sustainability. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Undergraduate Facade Engineer to join our team, with one position based in our Wollongong office. The successful candidates will be eager to apply their engineering skills and contribute to the design, analysis, and assessment of facade projects. Responsibilities: Assume responsibility for the implementation of the Indesco QA & Business Management System on projects; Implement the company’s WHS & EMS policies; Act in the best interest of Indesco and a role model for the team. Work in accordance with the Business Management System; and Maintain a program of continuous self-improvement and professional development. Project Management: Provide support to the project manager and project team with engineering task. Design Management: Undertake components of design as appropriate to the needs of the project within one’s capabilities such as; Structural assessments; Thermal assessments; Corrosion risk assessments; Condensation risk assessments; Plan design packaging and design interfaces; Manage the design and verification of the design in accordance with the quality system procedures; Preparation of engineering reports; Utilising of computer software packages available from the company to assist with the design process (Strand7, Space Gass, THERM, WINDOW, WUFI); Assist with the preparation of project plans; Consider WHS and environmental issues relating to construction activities during design and documentation; Maintain a program of continuous self-improvement and professional development through membership of professional associations and attendance at, and participation in, relevant training courses, seminars and conferences; and Maintain a program of professional development with the intent of achieving Chartered Engineer status through Engineers Australia. Skills And Experiences Skills and Experience: Previous experience is not essential. Basic MS Office skills is beneficial. Competent in report writing. Qualifications Required: Tertiary degree completion or on the pathway to tertiary degree completion admitting to the Institution of Engineers Australia.
