Job Description Cyber Security Engineer Initial 12 month contract Active NV1 clearance On-site in Canberra Seeking an experienced cyber security engineer to augment the existing operations team to assist in uplifting the existing capability. Duties: Responsible for the maintenance of cyber security monitoring and analysis toolsets, and will take a lead role in the build of the cyber security architecture through consultation with internal ICT teams to secure this architecture. Skills Required: Experience using Sentinel or a similar SIEM solution is essential In-depth familiarity with the Australian Government Information Security Manual Experience with security technologies such as endpoint protection, firewalls and IDS/IPS Extensive experience in Windows, Linux, networking and system administration Experience with security services in the cloud (Azure or AWS) Role particulars: Submission due: 06/12 Duration: 01/2025 - 12/2025 Extension/s: 2 x 12 month option to extend Security clearance: Active NV1 clearance is essential Location: Canberra, A.C.T Working arrangements: Preference for on-site in Canberra Apply now if you meet the above requirements
