We are looking for a test engineer to join a small, multi-disciplined engineering team based in Penrith. This role involves unit testing, integration testing, and system testing for products that use a range of embedded microprocessors, from 8-bit processors to 32-bit ARM processors. This is a full-time, permanent position offering up to $90k super. You must be based in Sydney for this position and be able to work onsite in Penrith full-time. The Role: Create and maintain comprehensive datasets to test and validate products. Perform system, software, firmware, and hardware testing. Assist in collecting data for in-house machine learning models. Develop and execute test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of products. Identify and report defects, working closely with embedded software engineers. Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes do not introduce unintended product issues. Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Required Skills: Experience with testing methodologies and tools (unit testing, integration testing, system testing). Good knowledge of Python Java or C++ knowledge also of interest Understanding of embedded software and hardware-software interactions. Nice To Have: Experience with automation tools.
