This leading engineering firm continue to be busy. Due to a strong pipeline of work, there is an immediate need for an experienced Civil Engineer. This role is ideally suited for the Senior Civil Engineer who has a broad civil design background working in a consulting company. The role: · Managing the delivery of all design aspects of the project on time, on budget and to standards · Design and Project Management of Urban Land Development projects including responsibility for design, documentation, approvals, civil works specifications, engineering reports, tenders and construction phase (superintendent / contract administration) · Undertaking regular interface and liaison with key clients and stakeholders · Understanding of related safety in design practices and processes · Lead and mentor junior staff · Hydrology and flood modelling and reporting (Tu-flow / HEC-RAS) highly desirable You will have: · Min 8 years’ design experience. Those with 15 years’ experience encouraged to apply · Degree in Civil Engineering · Land development background essential including residential , commercial and industrial subdivisions delivery from concept, development applications, approvals, design and documentation including master planned communities · Design review experience · Working knowledge of AutoCAD, 12d, DRAINS, MUSIC and MS Project and MS suite · Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially report writing.
